The medieval borough of Serignana, ideal for an holiday in Tuscany, is situated in the San Godenzo Council area at the border of Foreste Casentinesi National Park, in proximity to the village of Castagno D’Andrea, the birth-place of the Renaissance painter Andrea Del Castagno, also the Florentine gateway to the Park.
The settlement is typical of the mountain village ( 630 m. s.l.m.) located in a small valley in the shadow of Mount Falterona. The borough has its nucleus: a central square comprising of a small consecrated church, the manor home, the sagrestia’s home and then other homes, some with rural structures. Complete with its own old and beautiful spring fed fountain whith the antique washing area.
